How many companies do you know of that are willing to have their name mangled in an ad? Newcastle Brown Ale has taken a decidedly self-deprecating tone that is both honest and genuinely funny. Their recent July 4th themed ads feature “Independence Eve,” which celebrates what it would have been like if America hadn’t won the Revolutionary War.
