Twix Highlights Their Tardiness to Market with Humorous Ad Campaign

 

Candy bars in bite-size form seem to be the candy bar style of choice these days. MARS recently unveiled their new Twix Bites, which isn’t so notable except for the fact that they are late to the bite-size game. What makes their ads work is that they acknowledge their tardiness and use some creative 80s-themed promos to explain why this happened.  Sometimes, owning up to an oversight (or a near-oversight, in this case) and injecting a little humor goes a long way.
